I like things. I like textures and colors, and I like to think about what things can become. I like knobs and dials and things that turn on. I like the smell of glowing vacuum tubes and old records. I like to work with my hands. I like to get excited about things. But mostly, I like boring things. I like photographs of nothing at all. I like guitar solos that stay on one note for far too long. I like how the mundane can easily be pushed into the realm of the surreal.
In May I will graduate from Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA in Industrial Design. I live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where I make things and play music.
